Two common difficulties of testing an Application on the NonStop platform have been:

- Finding suitable test tools which run on the NonStop platform;
- Finding available legacy communications ports on the NonStop system.;

Firstly, ComNet can provide TCP/IP access to your Legacy Application. This means that you can now use any of the numerous test tools available on the PC platform.

It also means that you don't need the physical legacy communications ports (eg. X25, SNA) on the NonStop platform because ComNet will be emulating these. If one PC isn't enough to drive transactions into your Application, then you could use multiple PC's on the LAN.
